Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie
As a key member of our client's culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your specific kitchen section. This dynamic role involves managing food costs, actively contributing to menu development by sourcing local, seasonal ingredients, and assisting with the training and mentorship of junior staff. You will uphold the highest standards for health, safety, and hygiene, ensuring a pristine and efficient working environment. This position demands self-discipline, a passion for excellence, and the ability to thrive as part of a collaborative team, working closely under the expert guidance of the Sous and Head Chefs.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are seeking a Chef de Partie with proven experience in a similar high-calibre role, ideally within a high-end 4 or 5-star hotel kitchen environment. A minimum of 2 Rosette experience is essential, demonstrating your commitment to culinary excellence and precision. You will possess a genuine passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to kitchen operations. While not strictly essential, access to your own transport is preferable given the Highland location, offering greater flexibility and independence to explore your new surroundings.
