Responsibilities in your new role as UK Off-Trade Sales Manager (Drinks / FMCG)

As the UK Off-Trade Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in:
  • Drive commercial and sales leadership, delivering significant growth across UK grocery, supermarket, and premium retail accounts through data-led decision-making
  • Lead new business development, securing key distribution wins and supporting European off-trade expansion in line with business objectives.
  • Own the management of supermarket promotions, ranging, pricing, and category initiatives, underpinned by detailed analysis of rate of sale, margin, and broader retail dynamics.
  • Help with UK off-trade sales forecasting, working closely with the CEO on planning and using detailed Excel-based analysis by account SKU and channel.
  • Maintain and manage accurate depletion and sales data, building robust Excel models, dashboards, and reports to translate complex datasets into clear commercial insights and actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to execute the wider commercial strategy, bringing a proactive, analytical mindset, strong accountability, and a results-driven work ethic.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for candidates with proven UK off-trade experience within the drinks or FMCG industry, combined with exceptional data analysis and Excel skills. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who is highly comfortable working with large datasets and using data to drive decision-making.

You'll bring strong numerical ability and advanced Excel proficiency, with experience building detailed models, analysing sales and depletion data, and translating complex information into clear commercial insight. A genuine enthusiasm for spreadsheets, forecasting, and performance analysis is essential.

Alongside you analytical strengths, you'll have experience managing promotions, category initiatives, and retail negotiations, supported by a data-led understanding of rate of scale, margins, and overall performance.

You'll be highly organised, detailed-focused, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable operating autonomously, you'll also collaborate closely with leadership, clearly communicating data-driven insights and recommendations.
Extensive experience working with major supermarkets, grocery, and premium retail accounts is required.
