Responsibilities in your new role as Senior Chef de Partie

In your role, you will be committed to working to a 5-star standard, ensuring meticulous preparation through mise en place. You will oversee the correct handling and storage of deliveries, manage fridges and stock rotation, and order stock as necessary. Your culinary talents will shine through while cooking and plating breakfast, assisting with lunch service, and ensuring that all aspects of the food safety management system are adhered to. You will also provide support and supervision to commis chefs and kitchen porters, while liaising with the front of house team to monitor guest satisfaction in relation to food quality.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have strong Chef de Partie experience in a similar level luxury property. The ideal candidate will possess NVQ Level 2/3 or a similar level food preparation qualification or equivalent experience. Being REHIS Level 2 Food Hygiene qualified would be beneficial. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with remarkable organisational abilities. 

Due to the location of the property, it would suit someone with regular access to their own transport.
