Responsibilities in your new role as Payroll Administrator
In your role as Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing a weekly payroll accurately and on time for over 1,000 employees. You'll be responsible for maintaining and updating employee records, producing payroll reports for management, and providing support for payroll-related queries.
Alongside your payroll duties, you will also support the purchase ledger function, including setting up and maintaining supplier accounts, verifying and processing invoices, and ensuring all payments are correctly authorised and recorded.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for someone with proven experience in payroll administration or a similar role, who possesses a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and pension processes. You will exhibit excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with payroll software. You must have strong communication skills and be able to build rapport with management and the administration teams.
