Responsibilities in your new role as Data Centre Engineer

As a Data Centre Engineer, you will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of our data centre services. Your responsibilities will include responding to customers within agreed service level agreements (SLA) and delivering intelligent remote hands support for both customers and internal teams. You will deploy customer solutions according to plans from provisioning and project teams, and handle the installation and management of racks and related equipment. Additionally, you'll provide expert cabling support, manage incoming service requests, and troubleshoot hardware faults. Collaborating effectively within the data centre team and liaising with third-party suppliers will be key to your success.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Services Engineer or someone in a similar role who thrives in a customer-focused environment. You should have a track record of providing exceptional service, combined with strong computer hardware troubleshooting skills.
