Responsibilities in your new role as Breakfast Chef

As the Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of delicious breakfast dishes. This includes cooking common breakfast favourites such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausages, and toast. You will also prepare accompaniments like sauces, jams, and garnishes, ensuring dishes are plated attractively and consistently. Your role will involve performing mise en place by prepping ingredients ahead of service and ensuring all cooking stations are stocked and ready. Maintaining food quality is vital, so you'll follow recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance. Time management is key during peak breakfast hours, so coordinating with team members to ensure timely service is crucial. You will uphold hygiene and food safety standards by keeping workstations clean and following safe food handling practices in compliance with local regulations.
