We're doing the Virtual Kiltwalk!

The Stafffinders team are thrilled to be involved in this years Virtual Kiltwalk on behalf of our incredible charity of the year, MND Scotland!

After a whirlwind of a year with many fundraising events being postponed, we were so pleased to hear that the Kiltwalk were planning a virtual event for everyone to get involved in, from their own area. The event will take this place weekend, commencing from 23rd April and finishing on the 25th April, giving everyone plenty of time to take part.

As the Kiltwalk is going virtual this year, everyone was able to choose their own activity to complete whilst also picking their distance to cover over the weekend. This means that attendees could cycle, run, walk, skip... you name it! Any activity and distance completed will help raise awareness and donations for many amazing causes.

Whilst most of our team are sticking to walking throughout the weekend, a few of our members are going to be cycling. Taking all distances chosen into consideration we are extremely proud to announce that Stafffinders will be covering a total of 220km over this weekend for MND Scotland!

The team have been preparing over the past few weeks and choosing our activity routes to ensure a successful weekend ahead, raising as much awareness as we can whilst fundraising money for an amazing cause.

Help us smash our target to aid MND Scotland in making a huge difference to those living with MND, by donating to our Just Giving page. This year, Sir Tom Hunter has also pledged to add an additional 50% to what we raise, making every penny raised even more valuable to MND.

If you would like to support the Stafffinders team in raising as much money as possible for MND, please donate below, where you can make a donation of your choice. Every penny you give goes directly to those who need it most.

MND Scotland

MND is the leading charity in Scotland providing care and support to those affected by Motor Neurone Disease, a rapidly progressing terminal illness which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This can cause someone to lose the ability to talk, walk, eat, drink or breathe unaided and can also trigger behavioural changes. The remarkable team at MND Scotland provide incredible support to improve the quality of life of those affected, and we are delighted to be collaborating with such an amazing charity.
