Scottish Recruitment Awards 2010 Winners
Stafffinders were delighted to make it to the final 3 for 6 categories at this year's Scottish Recruitment Awards. Against tough competition Stafffinders Zoe Morrison picked up the award for Newcomer Consultant of the Year.
The Scottish Recruitment Awards have been created by Scottish Business Insider to recognise the industry's top achievers and showcase the outstanding achievements of recruitment companies from across Scotland.
Stafffinders were delighted to have been short listed for so many award categories, with the winners being announced at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on Thursday 10th June 2010.
The event was an excellent opportunity to bring together the great and the good from the recruitment industry to celebrate individuals and companies who have excelled in the marketplace.
Stafffinders final 3 short listed categories included; Newcomer Consultant of the Year, Innovation Award, Recruitment Agency of the year, Back Office Support Team of the year, Recruitment Team of the year and Recruitment Leader of the year.
Each finalist was required to interview in front of a panel of judges to ascertain an in-depth understanding into each company, the judges commented
"After switching careers from hospitality Zoe worked hard to become a highly valuable asset to Stafffinders. Within months of joining the business Zoe won Employee of the Quarter. She has consistently delivered outstanding service to her clients, developing a number of contracts and successfully increasing her desk by almost 30%".
Judges also commended "Stafffinders has continually developed new initiatives to enhance the recruitment process with innovative approaches carried out on its business model and marketing plan"
Judges go on to say "Like most in the industry revenues have dropped over the past year, however Stafffinders outperformed expectations with average sales per consultant rising by more than 80% and innovative approaches developed to cut overheads and new revenue streams introduced, including hospitality training"

Against tough competition Stafffinders Zoe Morrison picked up the award for Newcomer Consultant of the Year. Zoe said "it's a great honour to be accepting this award in recognition of a job I love.
