I have had very good service from all at the Glasgow Office. They found me a temporary position, which I have now been in for more than a year. As a candidate, you are made to feel that nothing is a bother, which is not the case with some other organisations. They are very prompt at returning your calls and my weekly payment is never late or wrong. I do, however, speak more to Michelle. You are always very pleasant and friendly to deal with, which makes life a lot easier. Thank you Stafffinders for helping me.
Scottish Recruitment Awards 2008
26 March 2008
The 2nd Scottish Recruitment Awards took place at The Hilton Hotel on the 6th March. This year Rebecca Williamson, from our Edinburgh branch, won Newcomer of the Year - congratulations! The impression Rebecca Williamson made in just 18 months saw her "jump out" in the newcomer category. The fact that Rebecca has had four pay increases already and is being groomed for a divisional managers post were among the factors which saw the judges choose her as the winner.
Alister O'Connor was shortlisted to the final three for Manager of the Year due to his achievements in increasing sales and margins while reducing costs were much admired by the judges.
Tamlin Roberts and his team at Mercurytide were shortlisted in the final 3 for Back Office Support Team category. They impressed the judging panel due to their work transforming the efficiency, speed and quality of many of the back office operations at Stafffinders.
The evening was a real success, bringing together the great and the good from the industry to celebrate those who have surpassed themselves, in which Rebecca certainly did, and who truly deserves the award.
