We have been dealing with Stafffinders for a number of years now and have built up a good relationship with them. We have always found them very professional and easy to deal with. They have never let us down on providing staff and if, on the very rare occasion, that the staff member hasn’t suited the job we have, there has never been any problems finding another suitable candidate. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stafffinders to any employer looking for temporary staff members.
Race raises money for local Quarriers charity
8 October 2008
Stafffinders 5K Race and 1K Kids Dash took place at Mugdock Country Park, Glasgow on Sunday 6th July to raise funds for Quarriers and specifically their Countryview project based in Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir. The project supports children with physical and learning disabilities and the money will be used for the new sensory garden at the centre. The day was a great success despite the rain.
The speed of the runners was incredible, with the winner, Lindsay Cunningham coming in at a remarkable 16.09 minutes. The fastest female was Katie Athorne at 22.52mins., and was also our 1st under 16 year old. Assia McKechnie was our first over 16 female winner, and our male under 16 year old was Fraser Malone. The male winner of the 1K Kids Dash was Euan Malone, and the first female was Lina Guarin. Staff, friends and family all enjoyed a fun-filled day out with face painting, bouncy castle, bottle stall and raffle, and raised a wonderful £2,178.30 for Quarriers.
