Why did you decide to enter the recruitment industry?
My Gran started her recruitment journey at Stafffinders in the 1970s before opening her own recruitment business, so I’ve always had a keen interest in the industry.
How would you describe your role at Stafffinders?
It has evolved over the years. I started as a recruitment consultant before moving into a senior role, which then led me to become Office Support Manager. From here, I developed into my current role as Client Delivery Manager which involves being responsible for Stafffinders Commercial recruitment across the West Coast at our HQ in Paisley.
What is the most rewarding part of being in recruitment?
Meeting amazing people daily and finding them their dream job. There really is no better feeling and I’m sure anyone in recruitment will agree - it makes it all worth it!
How do you spend your free time outside of work?
I perform in one of Scotland’s top female tribute shows which covers music from the ’60s to present day! You may recognise us for the massive pink wigs we wear (How is that for a contrast to my day job!)
What’s a fun fact about yourself?
Before my recruitment career, I worked as a fitness instructor for 8 years!
