Responsibilities in your new role as a Travel Administrator
The role involves daily quality checks and confirming previous day’s bookings, ensuring tickets are sent within agreed timelines, and processing amendments and cancellations per supplier invoices. You will verify supplier invoices against internal systems, handle costing queries, manage the mailbox and diary, and oversee incoming/outgoing mail. Additionally, the role supports Customer Service and Sales teams, investigates booking discrepancies, monitors administrative errors, and ensures proper deductions for write-offs. Responsibilities also cover travel disruptions, insufficient funds investigations, and coordinating with customer service to resolve complex booking queries.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Proficiency in problem-solving is key for this role. While experience in travel sales or administration is beneficial, it is not required. Candidates should be process-oriented, capable of working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and have meticulous attention to detail. The ability to collaborate effectively within a team, as well as work independently with confidence, is essential.
