Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef
As a crucial member of the kitchen team, you will ensure smooth operations by managing orders and deliveries and upholding impeccable food hygiene standards. Working alongside the Head Chef, you will contribute innovative ideas and techniques, fostering a creative kitchen atmosphere that pushes boundaries in flavours and presentation. Continuously benchmarking against industry competitors, you will help improve offerings while developing positive relationships with the Front of House team, showcasing clear communication and teamwork. Your passion for nurturing and developing emerging kitchen talent will shine through in your interactions, and by engaging with guests, you will contribute to their memorable experience during their stay with us.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
You have a solid background in working within a fast-paced, quality-focused kitchen environment, preferably at the Sous Chef level in a 5-star setting. A genuine love for food and a keen interest in unique styles and flavours distinguish you from others. Your motivation and pride in delivering exceptional standards will help you thrive in this role, coupled with a positive attitude toward problem-solving. As a strong team player, your excellent communication skills and organised nature will contribute to a harmonious and efficient kitchen culture.
