Your rate of pay and hours of work
This temporary role offers an hourly pay rate of £17.00 and provides weekly wages along with accruing holiday pay. Shifts are available throughout weekdays and weekends. You have the flexibility to choose your shifts without any minimum commitment, allowing you to work according to your schedule and preferences.
Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef

Assist the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen.

Design and present dishes to an excellent standard, maintaining consistency and quality.

Lead and motivate the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.

Ensure efficient stock control and rotation.

Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.

Multitask effectively, managing various kitchen tasks simultaneously.

Communicate clearly and effectively with all team members.
Your personality, experience, and qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a similar fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong knowledge of food hygiene protocols and best practices.
