Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, your primary duties entail leading the kitchen team and ensuring the highest food quality across taste, presentation, and service standards. You'll also be responsible for upholding current industry legislation and fostering a safe, positive work environment conducive to staff development and satisfaction. Emphasis is placed on promoting innovation, introducing new culinary concepts, and championing local ingredients and suppliers.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have Sous Chef experience in a fine-dining or luxury environment and possess a genuine love for food. You will have a naturally creative and innovative flair with a keen attention to detail, extensive ingredient knowledge alongside awareness of local food trends and history and strong people management capabilities.
