Responsibilities in your new role as the Senior Sous Chef
As the Senior Sous Chef, your responsibilities include managing kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence and working closely with them to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume catering environment, while also mentoring and guiding junior team members. Additionally, you'll ensure that strict food hygiene and health & safety protocols are consistently upheld.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To be considered for the position of Senior Sous Chef, candidates should have at least six months of experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment. This experience should include a strong understanding of high-quality food preparation, kitchen management, and the ability to maintain exceptional standards in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
