This specialist, international company is a leader in its field and due an increase in business, they are looking for an experienced and efficient Project Administrator to join their team.  This is an excellent company to work for, which believes in looking after its staff and which offers genuine career development, including the opportunity to study for a project management qualification.

Your remit will be to offer administrative support to the Project Management team, working closely with them to ensure that first-class levels of customer service are consistently delivered to clients and that projects run smoothly.

The successful candidate for this role is likely to possess good, solid administrative experience within an IT-related or project-based business.  A proven methodical approach to work is key and at least 12 months’ experience of managing the administration of projects from beginning to end is required.  Due to the nature of the business, a linguistic background, or at least an interest in languages would also be highly beneficial.

Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.  Evidence of working in a similar deadline-driven environment would also be advantageous

As you become more confident and knowledgeable in your role, you will be given exposure to clients, eventually taking full responsibility for certain accounts.  It is therefore important that you demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude, both over the telephone and via e-mail. 

This position is considered as the first step on the ladder to becoming a Project Manager further down the line.  For those who desire it, there are genuine opportunities for career development, with the option of sponsorship for an internationally recognised project management qualification if you choose to progress down this route.
