Reservations Agent

We are currently on the hunt for a talented Reservations Agent to join our partner in the Glasgow area. You'll be joining a friendly reservations team of 4, which make up part of the wider office with around 20 colleagues.
Your rate of pay and hours of work
The salary for this role is a generous £25,116 per annum.
Due to our client being a 24-hour business, you will work on a shift basis to cover 8am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, and be required to work one in every four weekends of the month. These shifts will include a mixture of early, late and standard day shifts.

Responsibilities within your new role
As the Reservations Agent, you'll be responsible for assisting travel arrangements. You will provide information on pricing, availability, and travel policies, handle inquiries or changes to reservations, and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, process payments, and work with other departments to coordinate bookings.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking to speak with candidates with previous experience in customer service. Furthermore, you should have strong communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude, along with being highly organised and having the ability to multi-task efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment. Having excellent geographical knowledge of Scotland will see you go far in this role, as well as fluency in English (any additional languages are an added bonus!).
