We are looking for a Commis Chef for a stunning rural hotel in Stirlingshire. Situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs area, this elegant gem of a hotel is well known for its ‘nature to plate’ philosophy and commitment to keeping ingredients as local as possible. Backed by one of Scotland’s best loved chefs, this is a phenomenal opportunity to learn all about food and create a solid ground to build your career from.

The kitchen team includes 7 chefs and KP’s and you will be tasked with ensuring everything you do is done to the best of your ability. You'll be working closely with the whole team, including prepping food & foraging for the freshest ingredients.

There is a steady flow of weddings and functions, given the areas natural beauty, it is an ideal location for such events, and the food should always be a big talking point. The restaurant can do around 40 lunches and about 45 dinners every day, with the focus being on giving a fantastic guest experience.

The role is hourly paid & meets the National Minimum Wage. Accommodation is available on & off site.
