Stafffinders are recruiting for a Sous Chef for a fantastic hotel in Dunbartonshire.
The hotel is a gorgeous, modern hotel that stands well apart in terms of quality. We are recruiting for a Banqueting Chef who stands out from the crowd – A natural leader with a passion for phenomenal food.
The hotel is long established & is constantly changing with the times. The focus is on using high quality, fresh ingredients to create outstanding cuisine that is among the best in the country.
You will be responsible for the running the kitchen alongside the Head Chef & Executive Chef. The hotel is a popular wedding venue, you will need to be highly creative, well disciplined and extremely punctual. This will include overseeing ordering, stock-takes, Health & Safety requirements & staff training.
The kitchen team will be carefully assembled with some of the best chefs in their respective positions. You will be responsible for getting the best out of the kitchen team, getting everyone moving in the same direction, accepting nothing less than perfection.
The salary for this role is up to £24,000pa & accommodation is not available.
The successful Banqueting Chef will be someone with a background in producing top quality food. The emphasis will be on seasonality, showcasing the best of Scotland’s produce, using the best of what’s available and enhancing that to fantastic heights.
This role will suit someone with previous experience in a high quality environment working with all fresh food. A full knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety legislation & a current Food Hygiene Certificate will be required.
