Stafffinders are currently recruiting on behalf of one of Scotland’s most luxurious hotels for a dynamic, enthusiastic Sous Chef. The hotel is a small country house in idyllic surroundings, a perfect setting for a stunning meal.


The role will involve preparation of various ingredients around the kitchen and setting up a corner in a timely manner. The hotel prides itself in using locally sourced ingredients to provide guests a remarkable, world class dining experience. Everything is made in-house, including breads & ice creams and all butchery is done in house. This is a remarkable place to work and expand your skills. The menu is a 7 course tasting menu that changes every day, making use of the best ingredients available.


There is also a brasserie operation that is the main source of revenue for the hotel, all food is made fresh & this restaurant can sit up to 60 diners in one evening.


The job will involve working alongside the current brigade, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. A minimum of 2 years experience in at least a 2/3 rosette kitchen would be required for this role.


A competitive salary is available, depending on experience. Live-in accommodation is available.


Due to the location of the hotel, this role may suit someone with access to their own transport.
