Responsibilities within your new role as the Lifeguard
In this role, your primary duty is to ensure the safety of all pool users. You'll maintain clear communication with fellow lifeguards and staff, provide first aid when necessary, and uphold cleanliness standards in the area. Additionally, you'll offer a warm welcome and guidance to guests, conduct regular pool chemical tests, report the results, and ensure any necessary corrections are made.
Your experience, qualifications and personality
To be successful in this role, you should have previous lifeguard experience and strong time management skills to ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed promptly. A relevant and current lifesaving qualification, such as the NPLQ or STA Lifeguarding certification, is also required.
