Responsibilities in your new role as Junior Sous Chef

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef and Executive Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. Your responsibilities include helping manage the kitchen team, aiding in menu preparation, ensuring the quality and freshness of all dishes, and overseeing stock ordering and inventory management. This role allows you to utilise your cooking skills while also developing your management abilities to maintain and enhance our customers’ satisfaction through high-quality food.
 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are searching for someone with a genuine passion for customer service combined with a unique flair for problem resolution. You should be confident in addressing customer concerns to restore satisfaction, always displaying empathy and professionalism. Strong communication skills are essential. You must be flexible and adaptable, capable of remaining calm under pressure while efficiently completing both routine and non-routine tasks. Organisation and proactivity are key to your success in this role, as well as upholding high standards of cleanliness. A good level of numeracy and literacy skills is required, alongside the ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team.
