Stafffinders are delighted to be working alongside one of our prestigious clients to source an outstanding SAP Support Analyst to join their team in Glasgow or remotely.

Reporting directly to the Applications Manager, the Support Analyst will primarily be providing BAU support whilst delivering continuous improvements for our clients existing SAP B1 solution. You will be offering this support across the whole of the UK, Europe and North America, therefore adhering to high-quality service levels is crucial.

In addition, the Support Analyst will become a fundamental part of the SAP B1 project team, rolling out SAP B1 globally, whilst ensuring that all project plans are delivered in a timely manner as well as within a set budget. As a proficient Support Analyst, you will work closely with all members of the IT team to create and develop standards and processes that meet or exceed the clients internal customer expectations.

Your new job responsibilities

Key duties carried out by the Support Analyst will include providing 1st to 3rd line application support for the core SAP B1 solution and associates add-ons, in line with the agreed service levels and working practices set out by the client. The add-ons could include yet are not limited to, BEAS, Boyum, Zedsuite, Zed Interconnect and Coresuite.

As a talented Support Analyst, you will also use your skills and expertise to work on Data Migration Activities for Global Roll out to SAP B1, combined with effective creation and management of Crystal Reports, Layouts and SQL queries.

The Support Analyst will have a key responsibility to provide incident/problem management and Configuration Management support services to the users, maintaining company data standards combined with identifying and implementing procedures in areas where improvement in control is required.

A prominent task within this role will also include monitoring data integration scenarios to identify and eliminate data replication problems, whilst supporting the implementation of systems changes, upgrades in line with the change calendar and change control processes.

 

Your experience, qualifications and personality

We are ideally looking for a Support Analyst with previous experience with SAP B1 ERP and CRM solutions who can also demonstrate excellent hands-on experience of Boyum Usability package, and Print & Delivery. You will also be highly proficient in SQL and Crystal Reporting.

The successful candidate will be competent in eliciting and defining requirements whilst understanding of general business practices, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Having the ability to resolve complex functional and configuration issues within SLA’s would be preferred as well as being able to mentor internal customers to ensure good understanding of systems, processes, knowledge transfer and upskilling.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office products and have a demonstrated history in business analytical tools, including data analysis, combined with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
