An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service/Account Executive to join our client who are based in Edinburgh. The role is a permanent full-time role. Reporting directly to the Operations director, this key role has end to end responsibility and would suit someone with an outgoing personality and great work ethic. We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who will complement this ethos and bring a fresh & innovative approach to this role.

This role will be based at a highly prestigious independent distributor of Catering Supplies & Equipment to the hospitality and public sector industries, with an enviable reputation in the marketplace.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

  • Competitive salary of £19,000 - £28000 DOE

Your new job responsibilities

The position will include processing telephone, email, and web sales orders, responding professionally to any queries and investigating and resolving any issues to the customers complete satisfaction. This rewarding role will also enable the person to become involved in purchasing and dealing with key accounts on the phone and in person to ensure long lasting relationships are established.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume office environment, must be self-motivated
  • Strong IT literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Internet
  • Highly motivated team player

Skills/Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will ideally have 2-4 years’ experience. An individual with drive to succeed and excellent communication skills will flourish in this position. We are ideally looking to speak to confident, outgoing, quick-thinking individuals to join their dynamic and diligent team. Great work ethic and the ability to handle versatility throughout the working day would be advantageous for this role.

Experience within the hospitality and public sector would be beneficial yet not essential for this position.
