Responsibilities in your new role as the Procurement Advisor
-
Provide guidance and support to line managers on the implementation of HR policies, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.

Encourage and coach line managers to address performance and absence issues effectively.

Interpret and advise on employment legislation, ensuring compliance and providing relevant advice to managers and employees.

Assist line managers with recruitment activities, including developing role profiles and person specifications.

Liaise with stakeholders involved in policy development related to employee performance, health, and safety.

Collaborate with the health and safety department to manage occupational health cases and offer guidance on complex absence issues.

Advise on pay, promotions, and benefits discussions, ensuring fair and equitable practices.

Promote and support a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
-
Holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous; however, equivalent knowledge and experience will also be considered.

Excellent understanding of employment law with practical experience in applying this knowledge.

Ability to adapt communication styles to suit various stakeholders.

Demonstrable experience in suggesting and implementing new ways of working.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant IT tools.
