Responsibilities in your new role as Head Chef
As Head Chef, you will be at the helm of our culinary operations, overseeing all aspects across multiple kitchens within our award-winning, 5-star venue. Your expertise will be crucial in working to and maintaining the highest standards. You will be responsible for the comprehensive training and development of the entire kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. A core part of your role will involve imaginative menu creation, consistently aiming to craft extraordinary dishes that highlight the finest locally sourced Scottish produce. Furthermore, you will strategically meet and exceed financial plans and meticulously ensure the consistent quality of all culinary products.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are seeking an exceptional individual with a proven track record, including experience leading a multi-rosette winning venue. You possess a truly creative mind, constantly looking to lead the way in culinary trends and setting new benchmarks for excellence. You are a great communicator, capable of inspiring and guiding your team, and you demonstrate an excellent eye for detail in every aspect of your work. Fluency in English is essential, and a background in a similar high-calibre Head Chef or Executive Chef role within the Hospitality industry is paramount. Your experience in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including team development and financial management in an award-winning, 5-star standard environment, will be key to your success.
