The Operation

Located in picturesque Fort William, the largest town in the Scottish Highlands, the castle is expertly, tastefully and immaculately maintained by the experienced management, and has garnered a multitude of accolades over the years, for both its dining and guest experience. The hotel is managed by the luxury management group ICMI, an ever expanding collection who have over 12 properties, allowing for definite progression opportunities. Whatsmore, the 3 AA restaurant goes by the name "Albert and Michel Roux Jr at Inverlochy Castle". Need we say more?

The Job and You!

You will report directly to the Hotel GM with main responsibilities including ensuring the efficient and effective management of all food and beverage services, running of the restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner; training of all staff to the standards set by the company with an aim to progress all team members to a higher position.Very much a hands-on, proactive role, definitely not for a desk jockey! 

The role would be ideal for an ambitious Restaurant Manager or F&B Manager, looking to take the next step in their career and continue their learning and development. To be considered you will have held a similar role for at least 1 year and have worked in a 5-star/multi rosette/michelin level property for a minimum of 2 years. Candidates should be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service. Standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organize and plan ahead and have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment.

Temporary accommodation is available for those relocating to the area and assistance will be provided in terms of local knowledge, when it comes to sourcing your own accommodation.

Due to property location, candidates would very much be advised to have access to their own transport.
