The Job and You...
As Group Junior Ops Manager, you have to be able to solve problems quickly and in a professional and pleasant manner. You must be able to deal successfully with a wide variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Possess initiative, self-discipline, effective communications skills, and the ability to organize and direct the work of others.
The Junior Operations Manager is responsible for making decisions with the guidance of the Assistant Operations Manager and the Group Operations Manager, that directly affect the day-to-day operations for the entire group. You will be required to assist each hotel’s GM in management holiday cover and any emergency relief cover, which will involve extended periods away from home and will take up about 90% of your job role. Travel and working away is a key factor within this job role as you are likely to be away from home approx. 4 nights per week depending on your location.
The role offers a starting salary of £24,000 per year, with potential to rise to £26,000 after a 6 month review. Candidates are required to have their own car, however travel expenses will be covered.
