This modern, high volume operator has quickly garnered a reputation for being one of Scotland’s top up and coming hotel groups, favoured for its F&B, accommodation and events offerings. Acclaimed for winning a number of industry awards, the expectation is their Dumfries property will be no different, investing high levels of both time and money to make it so.

The Job and You...

You will report directly to the hotel and group senior management and will assist in having full control over the high quality, high volume hotel operation. Key responsibilities include overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the property, working alongside all department HOD’s and ensuring guest expectations are both met and exceeded. Staff recruitment, development and mentoring is equally vital, to take the operation to the next level. Very much a hands-on, proactive role, you will most definitely be a public face in the hotel! 

The role would be ideal for an ambitious head of department, looking to take the next step in their career and continue their learning and development. Existing Operations Managers will very much be considered also. Ideally candidates should have experience in a high quality, fast paced F&B and events setting. The position has clear and definite progression opportunities, with eventual movement up the senior management ladder for the successful candidate.
