The Operation

Located in picturesque Fort William, the largest town in the Scottish Highlands, the castle is expertly, tastefully and immaculately maintained by the experienced management, and has garnered a multitude of accolades over the years, for both its dining and guest experience. The hotel is managed by the luxury management group ICMI, an ever expanding collection who have over 12 properties, allowing for definite progression opportunities.  Whatsmore, the 3 AA restaurant goes by the name "Albert and Michel Roux Jr at Inverlochy Castle". Need we say more?

The Job and You!

You will report directly to the Hotel GM and you will receive exposure to all aspects of the day-to-day running of the hotel. Key responsibilities include overseeing all front of house operations primarily guest services and F&B. Staff development and mentoring is vital in order to both meet and exceed the guest expectations. Very much a hands-on, proactive role, definitely not for a desk jockey! The role would be ideal for an ambitious supervisor or head of department, looking to take the next step in their career and continue their learning and development. Existing assistant and duty managers will very much be considered also. Ideally candidates should have 4-star plus or rosette level experience. The position has clear and definite progression opportunities, with previous holders going as far as GM, either here or elsewhere.

Temporary accommodation is available for those relocating to the area and assistance will be provided in terms of local knowledge, when it comes to sourcing your own accommodation.

Due to property location, candidates would very much be advised to have access to their own transport.
