I had just finished my internship and in the process of looking for employment. Most companies I applied with advised that I did not have substantial experience hence they wouldn't take me on. However, upon applying with Staffinders, I had a quick response from the senior recruiter - Michelle who invited me for an interview. She was so friendly and really boosted my morale. I was so impressed that she had so much confidence in me and she was willing to send me out working as soon as possible.
3 weeks later, I got a phone call from Michelle with my first post. I was very pleased and excited at the opportunity. After that, Michelle got me another 6 months post. I am very happy with all the posts and the work I have been doing so far. More so, that Staffinders always get in touch to find out how their staff are coping.
The confidence they had me and the chance they gave me in getting me good posts has been exceptional, especially after going through a hard time to find stable employment. Moreover, Staffinders have been very helpful in getting me through an amazing career ladder where I am now working within fields and subjects in line with my qualifications.
Thank you Staffinders, Thank you Michelle for taking a chance on me.

Are you ambitious, sales focused and target driven? Would you pride yourself on the service you provide to both clients and candidates alike?
Most importantly, do you have the personality to match?!
If this is you, then you could be just what we are looking for. Due to expansion, we are looking for talented Recruitment Consultants of all levels, across a number of sectors including Commercial, Hospitality, Industrial and Technical. Whether you are an existing Recruitment Consultant or looking to start a career in recruitment, we’d love to hear from you.
Who we are…
Stafffinders is a family-led business, very much at the forefront of temporary and permanent recruitment since 1971. So much so, we have won several awards, most recent being "Outstanding Performing Business" at the 2017 ROCCO Awards. With offices in both the west and east coast, we cover the length of breadth of Scotland (also internationally thanks to the continued success of our sister company, Kingpin - who are also recruiting). Members of both APSCO and REC trade bodies, our values and ethics are very much in line with our family background. We also work closely with both community and charity organisations, recently playing an active role in the Paisley 2021 bid as well as raising awareness and funds for Cash for Kids and RAMH.
What we want from you…
To succeed as a Recruitment Consultant, you will need to be determined, enthusiastic and self-driven. Attitude is everything within the job, as you will be required to proactively drive business development in a competitive market, actively sourcing clients and candidates through a wide variety of mediums for a wide variety of roles. Online and social media presence is an important part of the role, but you should also be outgoing, adaptable to different individuals and willing to pick up the phone and get out and meet people. The personal touch is vital, so if you want to be figuratively tied to a desk and hide behind emails, perhaps give it a miss.
As for experience, we are flexible. We are interested in all levels, whether it be Senior or trainee recruitment consultants. If you don’t have experience in recruitment but are able to demonstrate the skills and attitude required to succeed, then that’s fine also.
What you get from us…
Aside from highly competitive salary (based on experience), achievable bonus opportunities, the potential for flexible working hours and time in lieu, quite a lot actually. You will get the chance to earn industry accredited qualifications from the REC, along with the opportunity to develop through world-renowned training plans such as those by “Social Talent”. Besides the aforementioned bonus opportunities, we offer regular and varied performance-related incentives and prizes (£100 restaurant vouchers most recently up for grabs!). You will get the chance to have your ideas heard and implemented, as we don’t like to micromanage, rather be supportive and open-minded in our approach. Last but not least, if you are really good you will get the chance to progress within the company. Danielle has just been promoted to Managing Consultant, after only a year with us and it was only 5 years ago I was bluffing my way through my first placements, whereas now I am writing inspiring job ads such as this…….!
Is it hard work?...Definitely
Is it worth it?....Absolutely
So, do you think this sounds good?
To apply, please forward us an up-to-date CV. If you want to discuss it further, please call us and ask for either Graeme (myself) or Fiona (19 years here, so what she doesn’t know about working here, isn’t worth knowing).
We look forward to hearing from you…
