We are in the market for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead a hotel nestled in the stunning Scottish Highlands. This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to guests.

Your responsibilities in your new role as the General Manager

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments function seamlessly.

• Foster a warm and welcoming environment for guests, maintaining the highest standards of service throughout their stay.

• Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team, with a focus on recruitment, retention, training, and development.

• Implement and manage effective cost control measures, ensuring the hotel operates within budget while maintaining quality standards.

• Regularly communicate with the Managing Director, providing updates on hotel performance and addressing any operational challenges.

• Oversee multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and others, ensuring flawless service delivery across all areas.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a luxury or 5-star hotel setting is essential.

• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Must be willing and able to relocate to the Scottish Highlands.

• Demonstrated success in cost control, team training and development, and managing a luxury hotel environment.
