Your rate of pay and hours of work
For this position, you'll be compensated with an hourly wage of £16, paid on a weekly basis, in addition to accrued holiday pay. This temporary role provides flexibility, with a range of shifts available seven days a week. Customise your schedule to fit your preferences!
Your responsibilities in your new role
In the position of PVG Chef, you hold a vital position within the residence, responsible for crafting appetising meals for residents and assisting with post-service clean-up. Effective teamwork with fellow kitchen staff is paramount to ensure prompt and precise food preparation while adhering to health and safety standards. Your culinary expertise will greatly elevate the residents' dining experience, ensuring it's not only smooth but also enjoyable.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To excel in this role, it's vital to demonstrate a successful history as a Chef in a comparable setting, along with either possessing or the ability to acquire PVG/DBS checks. Holding a Food Hygiene Level 2 certification is beneficial. Your effectiveness will also rely on your ability to remain composed in busy, high-pressure situations, coupled with keen attention to detail and outstanding organisational abilities.
