Stafffinders are currently on the search for temporary Chefs to work in a variety of venues, across Glasgow and the whole of Scotland.
Your rate of pay and hours of work
These temporary positions currently have a pay rate of £12.50 to £14.00 per hour depending on client and experience. Wages are paid PAYE on a weekly basis and you accrue holiday pay on all assignments worked. There are various, flexible shifts available, including weekdays, weekends and long-term assignments, working in various types of venues and operations (some offering accommodation too!). You have the freedom to select your own shifts, and the security of having no minimum commitment, so you can work as and when it suits you.
Responsibilities in your new role
This is a role where you can take pride in the dishes you produce - some of the duties include:

Cooking a wide range of dishes for a variety of clients

Preparing and cooking meals for different events

Knowledge of allergies/dietary requirements

Maintaining good hygiene practices at all times
Your personality, experience, and qualifications
We are eager to speak to experienced chefs, especially those who have a proven track record of working within an events environment. You will have sound knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, as well as knowledge of health and safety procedures. You should have a strong ability to work as part of a team and independently also.
