Your rate of pay and hours of work
In this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £16.00 per hour, paid on a weekly basis with holiday pay accrued on top. You can also enjoy flexible working hours and the opportunity to make a real difference in the residents' lives.

Responsibilities within your new role
The core duties encompass several vital aspects: meticulously preparing and cooking meals tailored to the dietary needs of residents; upholding stringent standards of food safety and hygiene throughout operations; contributing to menu planning efforts to ensure a diverse selection and nutritional balance; actively managing stock levels and initiating supply orders when required; and fostering close collaboration with the care team to grasp individual resident requirements and preferences.

Your personality, experience and qualifications
To be considered for this role of Care Home Chef you should possess a current PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme record. Candidates should demonstrate a minimum of 12 months of experience within a comparable care home kitchen setting, coupled with a comprehensive grasp of food safety and hygiene protocols. Flexibility is paramount, as individuals must adeptly adjust to the evolving requirements of residents and the facility.
