This position involves planning and overseeing quality improvements, developing and reviewing work instructions, and playing a key role in the smooth integration of new products.  Working as part of a team the candidate will lead and take part in problem solving activities driving quality, OTD and process improvements, having a direct impact on business KPI’s.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. You will be responsible for the management of compliance activities, Internal audits management review meetings and calibration management 2. You will perform transition work towards the ISO 9001:2015 standard compliance audits 3. You will update Quality Documentation, customer manuals, creating test certificates and manage document control. 4. Manufacturing Process Control - you will establish and improve throughput in the assembly cells and the test process using lean manufacturing principles like Process Standardization, 5S, FMEA 5. Quality Management – You will carry out Quality reviews and daily management of internal quality department activities as per production requirements.  This includes
reviewing prints, data, procedures, test protocols/reports for accuracy and for compliance to engineering specification. 6. You will solve any quality issues impacting production, define production and inspection methods, monitoring performance and hand internal non-conformances. 7. CDT & R (Customer Defect Tracking and Resolution) – You will manage the SFDC (customer issue tracking database), and external quality reporting 8. You will Co-ordinate with other functions to complete analysis on quality issues and reporting internally and externally 9. Supplier Quality Management: you will develop supplier quality manuals, develop supplier rating processes to create scorecards and communicate supplier scorecards monthly 10. You will conduct supplier audits and support new supplier approval processes by conducting supplier assessment and approvals
Skills/Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a scientific discipline  Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a Quality Department within manufacturing environment Experience of working towards ISO and Quality Management Systems Experience of using inspection tools such as CMM and other hand tools  Certified ASQ or equivalent Quality Technician or Inspector Certified Internal Auditor is desirable Experience of ISO9001:2008 and ISO9001:2015 standard and compliance requirements Experience in documenting business processes, work instructions and quality manuals Experience of reading and interpretation of blue prints Experience in utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and problem-solving process like 8D, A3 or equivalent Experience of working in a customer facing role to include communication and quality reporting Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with employees, suppliers and customers.
