Stafffinders are currently looking for an experienced multi-skilled Facilities Management Engineer to join our clients team based in Edinburgh

In this role you would be expected to manage the mechanical/electrical servicing, maintenance, installation and repairs of equipment in a variety of locations.

Other responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment performance is maintained and conforms to company standards, scheduling servicing and maintenance as required.
  • Monitoring and management of any contracted personnel.
  • Work within set timeframes to ensure proactive and reactive work is completed.
  • Respond to callouts as required by the scheduled rota
  • Compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Administration of relevant document and records.

Requirements –

  • NVQ or City & Guilds in the following - plumbing/mechanical services
  • Gas safe – Commercial gas qualification/17th edition desirable.
  • Maintain plant to SFG20 Standards
  • Fault find on HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Ability to install pipework (Copper, ABS, PVC, Carbon Steel and screwed Steel)
  • Full clean Driving licence
  • Previous experience in Facilities management
  • Good communications skills both verbally and written

Hours of work – 40 per week (Monday to Friday) plus on call rota one in every 6 weeks.
