Visual Merchandiser/Design Assistant – Glasgow
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and creative Visual Merchandiser/Design Assistant, to join our clients thriving luxury showroom in the Glasgow area. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a Design/Visual Merchandising background who is looking to get their foot in the door with a reputable business where they can grow and develop their career.
Recent design graduates are also welcomed to apply as you will be supported and mentored by the Design management team who will provide ongoing training throughout this role. As Visual Merchandiser/Design Assistant you will join the company on a permanent and full-time basis.

Your New Job Responsibilities
- Deal with prospective and existing customers in person & via the telephone
- Assist the contracts team by utilising our 3D software
- Liaise with contractors
- Meet with clients to go over specifications within the showroom
- Produce technical specifications
- Continuous development of product knowledge
- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at any one time
- Work in collaboration with the management team to ensure that the client experience is of the highest quality including dealing with After Sales issues.
Your Experience, Qualifications and Personality
Ideally, we are on the lookout for a passionate, ambitious and flexible individual who is looking to build a successful career within this field. You will be extremely organised to ensure you can stap on top of several tasks at once whilst being able to stick to tight deadlines on a daily basis.
You will have strong communication skills and be a quick learner who can work well independently as well as part of a team. Computer literacy is also essential for this role.
