Stafffinders are currently recruiting for a talented Sous Chef to join one of the most renowned country house hotels located near Edinburgh, on a permanent basis.

Your new job responsibilities
As a Sous Chef, you will have an opportunity to support the Head Chef in all of the food operations happening within the hotel. Coupled with the team of excellent FOH managers and Group Chef, you will receive all of the support necessary to succeed.
Cooking fine dining cuisine is your bread and butter and you will welcome challenges like running 2AA Rosettes Restaurant as well as catering for weddings and events.
You will be leading a team of talented and dedicated chefs, who really enjoy working there! Apart from creating a positive and encouraging work environment, you will enjoy developing your team and nurturing their talents.
Your experience, qualifications and personality
Ideally, you already have experience of working within 4* or 5* hotels. You must be coming from a fine dining environment with 2AA Rosettes or higher.
As far as jumping from casual, the high street could theoretically be possible – you need to have an understanding and a desire to maintain current standards and to push them higher.
