We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Venue Manager to join our team at a charming and historic pub in Moray. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for creating memorable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities in your new role as a Venue Manager

The main responsibilities in this role include ensuring the smooth operation of the inn and its adjacent cottage, managing stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records, and actively engaging in social media by creating regular posts across various platforms. Additionally, staying informed about industry trends and incorporating new ideas to keep the bar offerings fresh and appealing are essential aspects of this position.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Venue Manager role within the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management, scheduling, and financial reporting
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive and innovative approach to improving the venue’s offerings and customer experience
