Transport Planning Coordinator

Stafffinders are delighted to be partnering with our exclusive client to source an experienced Transport Planner to join their Global Freight Forwarding business during a period of outstanding growth. 

We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals with international supply chain/vehicle planning experience (preferably with a multi-temperature background) The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team of like-minded professionals. 

 

Your new employer 

You will be supporting a busy Customs team by providing strong administrative support & assisting with any customs queries. We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals with specific experience of Customs procedures within the Freight Forwarding industry, however this is not essential. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team and well-established organisation who are industry leaders in their field. Responsibilities in your new role 

The main responsibilities will be to ensure “assured supply” from a number of European collection points delivering to various UK & European distribution centres in the most efficient and cost-effective manner; this will involve load planning, consolidation, vehicle routing and liaising directly with clients’ in conjunction with the support of a dedicated customer services team. Experience in International Road/multi-modal operational experience along with vehicle routing & planning, commercial acumen, a pragmatic and self-motivated attitude, and an ability to offer flexible solutions within a fast-paced environment.
