This position offers a four-day on, four-day off working structure, including weekends and bank holidays. This is a fixed-term contract for one year, however, due to continual growth, this may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities within your new role

As the Transport Planner, you will play an integral role within the business to provide the transport planning function, by carrying out a variety of activities to support the company's processes and services. You will take pride in delivering outstanding levels of transport planning to ensure that the end-to-end process of collection to invoicing is performed efficiently and seamlessly. 

You will effectively plan, organise and manage transport movements within the agreed budgets and timescales, whilst keeping the transport management system up to date in a timely manner. A key responsibility within this position will also be to plan daily vehicle movements and produce accurate delivery schedules.
