Your New Job Responsibilities

You will be assisting the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen and be involved in training new staff. As Sous Chef, you will also be expected to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, therefore being confident and having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. You will be a natural team player and support the rest of your team through a consistent and positive approach. You will also be able to deliver exceptional food while supporting the communication of compliance requirements to all team members with regards to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and any other related legislative requirements.


Your Experience, Qualifications and Personality

You should be able to clearly demonstrate a successful background as a Sous Chef, ideally within high-volume environments and high-quality kitchens. Knowledge of food safety and regulations is vital. Experience in fine dining is preferred, although not essential.

Immaculate presentation is essential, alongside excellent communication skills. Above all else, you should have a team-based work ethic and creative flair.

Due to venue’s location driving is essential.
