Responsibilities within your new role

Your shift pattern will be Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30am – 10pm.

As Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Head Chef in all aspects of service and Chef management, including training others to become skilled Chefs themselves. You will be preparing and serving Greek cuisine to a high standard, ensuring you are complying with all health and safety regulations including EHO, COSHH and HACCAP regulations. Lastly, you will be required to maintain a good knowledge of stock control to meet restaurant demands.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are interested in speaking with candidates with experience as a Sous Chef in a high-class kitchen, ideally focusing on Greek cuisine.

You should have a passion for food and be able to create delicious dishes when under pressure. We are looking for a Sous Chef who can be adaptable when creating dishes whilst meeting deadlines during busy periods. Lastly, we are looking for a strong communicator as you will be required to mentor others and identify areas of improvement.
