Responsibilities within your new role

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will demonstrate a strong knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation, as well as knowledge of the menus, their items and the recipes and methods used.  You will assess quality control and adhere to the high level of standards required to deliver exceptional service and experience. You will be responsible for making orders to suppliers, along with mentoring the junior kitchen team.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You should feel comfortable taking initiative and driving a team forward to success. Being a forward thinker will take you far in this role. We would like to speak to individuals with experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, particularly if you have worked in a luxury setting or 4/5* hotel previously.
