Responsibilities within your new role
The role involves various responsibilities, including offering first and second-line support to clients by promptly and professionally addressing their inquiries and resolving issues. It also entails overseeing and optimising system and application performance and logs, while actively seeking opportunities to enhance system and application services. Keeping a precise record of technical problems and their corresponding solutions is crucial. Additionally, actively participating in the ongoing enhancement of team processes and practices is expected, along with fostering collaboration with other teams to ensure the seamless functioning of the business.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of three years of prior experience in a similar role, including a proven track record of supporting Java-based and web applications. Essential skills encompass proficiency in log investigations and the adept use of ticketing systems such as Jira.
The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, enabling individuals to diagnose and successfully resolve complex IT issues. Effective communication skills are paramount, allowing seamless interaction with clients, team peers, and senior management.
