Service Technician

Your new job responsibilities 

As the new Service Technician, you will report directly to the Service Centre Manager and primarily carry out inspections, repairs and service on power tool products. You will proactively liaise with and report to end users, whilst entering data on the computer systems.

This role also offers the opportunity to work away at this company’s other centres, working with a variety of people and constantly learning on the job.

You will work a total of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and occasionally be required to work Saturdays to meet the needs of the business. 


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have obtained an Engineering apprenticeship or secured Mechanical / Electrical MCQ qualifications. This position would be suitable for anyone with an Electrical / Mechanical background, including Petrol Diesel engine rebuild. 

We are ideally looking for someone that is keen to learn, and who has the determination to interpret and implement instructions effectively. You will have an ambitious and proactive attitude with the desire to improve and learn on the job. You will be a team player with great personal presentation and have the ability to lift heavy machinery when required.

A driving licence would be advantageous for this role although not essential as there are plenty of public transport options available nearby. Obtaining a first aid certificate, manual handling certificate and any relevant training certificates would also be beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
