Responsibilities as the Security Analyst 

Working closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will take on a fundamental role within the team to source and identify threats utilising market-leading security tools. As the Security Analyst, you will focus on the analysis, reporting and monitoring of these threats, whilst producing detailed overviews for the management and IT team.  

Within your role, you will handle security issues and potential concerns in a timely and effective manner, whilst driving security initiatives to promote continual improvement. In your position as Security Analyst, you’ll act as the security stakeholder, implementing security standards and ensuring best practice within the IT team and the wider business. 


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

In joining our client as the new Security Analyst, you will ideally have 3 years' experience within a security role or similar position. Having the relevant training or accreditations for this role would be highly advantageous, although not essential.  

Ideally, you will have strong knowledge of IT security tools and best practices used within this field, combined with excellent problem solving and organisational skills. You will have exceptional communication skills to ensure effective liaising at all levels.
