Job Description

Earn up to £60,000 per annum and have the opportunity to work for a global crypto tech company who are passionate about implementing new and emerging technologies.

Your new employer

We’re proud to work alongside a Scottish based company who are focused on providing a safe and private solution for data management and security to clients across the globe. You will be joining a small yet close-knit team who are distributed geographically and therefore focused on working collaboratively on a remote basis. This is a fully remote position; therefore, we are open to applications from all across the UK.

Responsibilities in your new role

As the new Rust Developer in this innovative and forward-thinking organisation, you’ll take responsibility for implementing accurate code based on the network design used by the client, whilst also aiding the production of precise and customer-focused documentation. Your role will also involve the participation in testing and integration of the software to provide recommendations and improvements.

Within your new role, you will be involved in ongoing developments and evolutions of the company's standards and best practices, maintaining sound knowledge and understanding of the languages and methodologies used in the business. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and supportive team, participating in daily stand-ups to ensure teamwork is at the forefront of everything they do.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

In joining this incredible organisation, you will firstly have excellent experience of Rust programming combined with strong skills in analytical thinking and problem solving in order to perform debugging. You’ll be highly skilled and knowledgeable about creating accurate and presentable documentation and have the drive to meet tight deadlines.

We are looking for a talented individual who thrives in a remote team and can demonstrate excellent communication skills. Ideally, you will have experience with distributed networks and working within Agile processes, however this is not essential. Exposure to Ruby, Java or C# would be advantageous although not mandatory for this role.

If you would like to be a part of a creative and forward-thinking environment, whilst having the chance to work alongside experts in their field, we’d be delighted to discuss this opportunity further with you.
